Time to get excited about an opportunity in "Transport Disruption" - We are the "Uber for Trucking", rapidly growing in Canada and the Pacific Northwest.

We are looking for a passionate and friendly person who loves on-boarding people and influencing a community – in our case, a thriving community of entrepreneurial owner-operator truckers and shippers.

You will be responsible for working between our technical operations team and the business operations team to develop, nurture, and represent the community. You get to interface with all user-types and development team too, so worldly communication and great organizational skills are an absolute must.

Reports to: CEO

Responsibilities: User Satisfaction in acquisition, development and retention

Work with the Community Team to:

  • Help develop a marketing strategy and execute user acquisition tactics
  • Social, Paid and Earned Media development and management
  • Cold, warm and hot calls; might be by phone, email or in-person
  • Onboard new users and train them accordingly
  • Build and maintain relationships with community
  • Make every effort to retain and, as required, re-onboard users
  • Assist with the planning, design and execution of community & marketing initiatives
  • Create, curate and manage written (print & print), video and social content
  • Represent community at industry events
  • Identify opportunities for community development, evolution, and growth

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Well developed and worldly verbal and written communication skills
  • High-level problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Quick learner and willingness to take on new challenges and learn new things
  • Be a powerful influencer and happy to work with community’s changing behaviours
  • Ability to fluidly work across teams and work independently on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • 3+ years in Community Management position or equivalent work (e.g. Business Development)
  • Ability to manage and drive new objectives
  • Comfortable working in a very communicative, fast-paced, and passionate team environment
  • Great knowledge of social media and current trends
  • Candidates must bring a burning passion for disrupting the status quo and being a Change-Maker
  • Desire to help shape the future of the trucking and shipping industry

  • Do some homework in the Trucking, Logistics, 3PL sectors and google “Uberization of Freight
  • Demonstrate an ability to develop relationships from cold-calls to enthusiastic brand ambassadors

  • Show your listening skills and ability to understand
  • Demonstrate creativity in pursuing opportunities
