We have an immediate opening for a Communications Specialist. This individual will be a valued member of our Marketing team and responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Stenberg College’s marketing-driven online communications strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Writing and editing of email campaigns, blogging, newsletters, feature articles, brochures, and advertising copy
• Responsible for curating content and all social media content
• Maintain and update the company website in a timely, professional, and strategic manner
• Create and disseminate surveys to gather important intel for the Marketing Department
• Develop, organize and maintain marketing collateral and digital assets

Qualifications

• Background in Marketing or Communications is preferred
• Diploma or Degree in a related field or a suitable combination of education and experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
• Strategic and critical thinking with an ability to use data to drive results
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and public relations
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with HubSpot Marketing Automation and Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
• Knowledge of CRM software, specifically Salesforce.com, is desired
• Highly organized with an ability to multitask and great attention to detail
