The Position:

The main purpose of this position is to manage and shape the communication and workflow with our most important asset- our clients. The Client Services Manager (CSM) is accountable for overall client management; business and financial management including client budgets and SDI’s profitability; and to support the management in new business acquisition. The position reports to the Vice President.


  • Develop and maintain excellent business relations with new and existing clients and continue to strengthen the relationship by finding value-add solutions
  • Network and develop relationships and trust among clients to support in new business acquisition
  • Project revenue adequate to sustain profitability and growth for the department and Company while meeting objectives and standards with financial accountability
  • Determine client needs to develop and execute a client development plan that supports the strategy for the account(s) and deliver solutions for the client.
  • Responsible for the financial management of the client account(s) and for identifying accurate projected estimates and results
  • Responsible for the adherence of all contract specifications and successfully implementing client contracts by communicating goals and objectives effectively to the account teams
  • Actively promote and develop the client’s business
  • Collaborate with clients to implement program changes, and communicate changes to account teams to ensure objectives and expectations are being met
  • Continuously provide thorough knowledge, insight and communication to clients to ensure all facets are being covered, and objectives and expectations are being met
  • Represent the Company and its business clients to the public in a professional and ethical manner, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality
  • With the assistance of Human Resources, effectively manage the recruitment and selection of professional and qualified account teams
  • Effectively manage the learning and development of the account teams to ensure skills are being properly utilized; quality work is being contributed at all times; and high performers are being retained in the Company


  • Bachelors Degree with a focus in business and/or marketing, or equivalent
  • 5-7 years experience as a Client Services Manager, or equivalent
  • 7+ years experience with a Marketing Organization or Agency


  • Event/logistics planning and execution experience
  • Client facing project experience
  • Excellent managerial and leadership skills
  • Strong budget and critical path management skills
  • Understand the business strategy and to recommend tools that will add value
  • Proficient computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, internet/research platforms
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Possess a creative mind with “out of the box” thinking
