Reporting to the GEOVIA Director of Marketing, the position is responsible for the support of product releases, programs, product launch campaigns, events and all other marketing activities that increase awareness and interest for Brand products and services. Working closely with the regional marketing, corporate marketing and cross-functional team members, the Brand Offer Marketing Specialist is responsible for the creation and effective execution of marketing communication content and programs that build the Brand, position the company as an industry leader, and generate demand for Brand products. Collaboration, time management, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills are essential for success in this role.
Develop, deliver and execute plans to delight customers and prospects that support the revenue generation and value creation for Brand (GEOVIA).
Project Manage Marketing Programs including Brand Product Releases (45%)
•Manage and keep corporate marketing projects and programs on track. This involves organizing meetings, creating and tracking project plans.
•Work with cross-functional Brand team to establish a timeline of marketing deliverables for each project release and ensure they are kept on track.
•Project manage the Brand product releases through release execution interfacing with Product Managers, and a cross-functional team to manage the marketing deliverables, updating release schedules, and supporting sales operations for communication to the field.
Social Media (30%)
•Drive improvements in content engagement metrics – ROI.
•Create measurable Brand value through the development of innovative digital and social media strategies.
•Manage and execute content calendars for social media linking internal milestones (releases, speaking engagements, events) to activities.
Search Engine Optimization (10%)
•Manage SEO strategy, monitoring and providing guidance for optimizing content to improve search engine ranking.
Marketing Campaigns (10%)
•Work collaboratively to assist with campaign owner in the development of content for campaign landing pages and microsites.
Market and Data Analysis (5%)
•Manage the available resource databases to identify market data that can be leveraged for sales and marketing purposes.
•Coordinate the execution of online customer surveys.
Education: Bachelor’s or Associates degree in marketing, communications, or business.
Experience: 5+ years B2B marketing experience with a software or services company;
3+ years of project management experience.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of social media strategy, tactics and metrics to drive SEO; Knowledge of the Mining or Natural Resources industry (an asset); Working knowledge of CRM and marketing automation tools (an asset).
Language(s): Ability to write and speak in a second language related to a key Brand market segment (Spanish, Portuguese, French, Chinese, or Russian).
Particular Aptitudes: Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal with strong business writing experience; Ability to multi-task effectively and work collaboratively with the Marketing team and other company stakeholders/departments.
