The person we are looking for has been doing this for a little while, maybe even working at an agency before. Regardless, this person will take great pleasure in making international and domestic educational travel irresistible. We do not merely want you to contribute to all the great things we are already working on. We want you to pipe in and say, “Hey, I have some ideas.” We'll count on you to expertly translate short- and long-form copy from English to Quebecois French for video, interactive properties, catalogs, travel itineraries, letters, postcards, emails and whatever else comes along for our tour-related products.

Your writing must be sharp and lean. Your grammar should be impeccable. You should be enthusiastic and eager to learn as well as teach. Of course, you play nice with fast deadlines, you're a master juggler and your best buddies are various Adobe products and Word.

You’re comfortable speaking up and doing what it takes to keep a project on schedule and on budget…and make it great. The opportunity

The Bilingual Translator/Copywriter position lets you combine your strengths in linguistics, writing and customer experience development into a unique, rewarding role. You will be an important part of a creative, technology and production team that works with in-house clients to produce high profile work. You’ll be counted on to be a multi-channel translation expert, an effective interpreter, and an enthusiastic learner. The person we are looking for has experience working on multiple projects for multiple teams with overlapping deadlines.

In this role, you’ll be an essential part of bringing our message to the French-Canadian market, working with the team at the center of the conception, design and execution of integrated, cross-channel marketing initiatives spanning video, web, print, mobile, email and social media. Requirements

• Fully fluent in English and Quebecois French, oral and written
• Degree or certification in translation or adequate experience
• 2-3 years of professional translating experience, in-house experience a plus
• Strong grammar and proofreading skills
• Excellent at meeting deadlines and managing workflow
• Enjoy collaborating in a team environment
• Experience working with Microsoft Office and/or Acrobat Pro
• Ability to work independently and within a team; proactive with research for projects
• Understanding of lexicon/guidelines
