Our name, CloudRaker, has nothing to do with the eminent “cloud” that has taken the digital world by storm. Our company was around long before cloud computing was a thing, and our name comes from an even older relic: Cloudraker mountain 200km north of Vancouver. It was on that mountain the inspiration came to start our company and make it a place our kids would think was cool.

That inspiration became reality in 2000, when CloudRaker came to life as a digital agency in Montreal. Since then, we have built great digital platforms and engaging marketing campaigns. Now, after 16 years, our growth has brought us back to our roots in BC.

We are looking for an Account Director to join our Vancouver team. If like other rakers you believe that our job is not about making people want things, it’s about making things people want, then you will make a great addition to our team.

As an Account Director, your main roles will involve problem solving, project management, and building strong relationships with clients. Your leadership, strategic thinking, proactivity, digital marketing knowledge, and your ability to make informed decisions, will be crucial for the following tasks:

  • Plan, organize and execute strategic and tactical projects for our clients

  • Collaborate on the strategic planning and business evolution for our clients

  • Develop recommendations and propositions

  • Define deliverables, budgets, risks and timelines

  • Define the organizational structure of the teams on projects

Manage projects with various strategy, creative and production teams, in order to advance our clients’ brands and their products:

  • Create briefs and manage post-mortems

  • Define and execute work plans from start to finish

  • Ensure responsible management of budgets and timelines

  • Improve efficiency of accounts and optimize processes

  • Earn the trust of clients and the team

The Account Director's responsibilities may include, annual strategic planning, creation of digital engagement campaigns (content, CRM, etc.), development of platforms (websites, e-commerce, mobile) and optimization of results (a/b/n tests, optimization, UX, analysis).


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role;

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing;

  • Sense of initiative and excellent interpersonal skills;

  • Structured, organised, positive and proactive;

  • Detail-oriented.

  • Experience working with media, PR, bloggers, an asset.
