Job Description

PIKO Marketing is looking for an Account Manager to join the team. Your job will be composed of three distinct areas: Retainer Services, Special Projects & Business Development.

Retainer Services:

We work with clients to deliver consistent marketing campaigns on a monthly basis that drive sales and increase brand loyalty and trust. Responsibilities include: meeting with clients, developing campaigns, reporting and liaising with our Marketing Coordinators to get projects designed and delivered.

Special Projects:

In addition to the monthly marketing campaigns additional projects come from retainer clients as well as clients who don’t require monthly retainer services. These projects range from websites and marketing campaigns to event management and photo shoots. Your chief role will be that of a Project Manager.

Business Development:

PIKO is a platform on which you can build your own career. If you want a career in advertising and marketing with interesting clients that pay well – you have to be a large part of the solution. Simply showing up to work and hoping magically that you will have another great client waiting for you at your desk is a pipe dream we can’t help you with. If you have an established network, like speaking in public and know how to work a room then we should talk.

Qualifications

Our Pipe Dream:

Above all else you're a people person. You look and act the part and could sell white to rice. You can think strategically and you can write. Staying organized and breaking everything into bite sized tasks is second nature. You probably have at least one degree and possibly a post-secondary certificate in Marketing, Communications or Journalism. You are beyond comfortable with computers and mobile devices; in fact you are a resource for friends and family who can’t figure out their own computers and phones. You aren’t a designer by trade – but you know good design when you see it. You speak designer and working with artists is easy for you. You like to win. You are punctual…so much so that being late stresses you out! You understand that being a good multi-tasker is a myth for people who like to make lists rather than actually complete projects. You know Windows like the back of your hand and walk around with an Android phone in your pocket. You use Google Apps. You have experience with project management software. You understand that everyday provides yet another chance to be legendary.
