Account Manager full-time

With the assistance of a GMR Account Supervisor and Director, the chosen Account Manager candidate will supervise day-to-day GMR project operations, such as building program budgets, expert work back schedules, experience in holistic brand planning, event management and event recapping to clients. The ability to build flawless internal decks with the assistance of an Account Coordinator (AC) is required almost daily.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee account team’s project work, while implementing a structured execution process
Maintain written and verbal communication with clients
Principal to the AC, the AM must possess incredible instructor skills allowing the AC potential to grow to an AM level
Prepare, present, and implement approved budget for programs; monitor expenses
Administer and evaluate on-site execution to maximize event success
Recap programs within a specific timeline and send detailed reports to client(s)
Create strategic documents for client presentations
Monitor program progress; recommend adjustments and evaluate programs against objectives
Assess need for, and effectiveness of, various forms of advertising media to include in
Program; identify appropriate media to reach target.
Some travel is required within Canada and occasionally the United States
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Precise attention to detail
Ability to work in a open environment and as a team leader
Demonstrated problem solving skills, ability to perform independently regarding day-to-day
Program management
Excellent presentation and inter-personal communication skills, both oral and written
Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities
Previous knowledge of event operations and management required
Solid computer skills which must include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Educational and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree: Communications or Marketing focus is desirable but not necessary
4+ years experience within the marketing/advertising/experiential industry
