This is a full time position reporting to the Director of Marketing. You will join a growing team of eager marketers. Your objective is to make our website a more inviting place for customers and prospects to visit and in doing so, learn how to make better investment decisions. We are seeking that special someone who can develop what they design and design work that is both easy on the eye and functional (we would love your work to make money and win awards in that order).

Note: You will need to work in the office, not remotely

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and provides ongoing design of the website, promotions, floaters, landing pages, seasonal content in order to support customer acquisition and engagement

  • Create attractive graphic and multimedia content for the company products

  • Monitors usage and performance, creates and maintains backups, and troubleshoots and resolves issues as they arise

  • Evaluate new technologies and participate in the continuous improvement of applications and systems

  • Assist in quality assurance testing

  • Regular site audits (and competitive analysis), to ensure priority site sections are optimized for proper keyword focus and provide users content/functionality to match searcher intent

  • Other duties as called upon by management

Qualifications

  • 1 to 5 years professional experience in web design/development

  • Art skills working with graphics, color combinations, fonts and visual layouts

  • Proficient with software used in web production including Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Able to design and implement responsive pages and websites

  • Strong expertise in HTML, JavaScript, CSS

  • Familiar with CMS such as WordPress

  • Ability to learn new software technology and use it

  • Working with third-party APIs
