The Opportunity

Our Calgary Head Office has an exciting opportunity for a talented, self-motivated and professional individual to join our Marketing team as a Web Marketing Specialist.  Under the direction of the  Manager, Digital Marketing Strategy, this position is accountable for developing and conceptualizing the information architecture, user interface and interaction design across all MNP’s digital assets. This would include, but is not limited to, landing page development, UX/IA wireframe design, features/functionality analysis, heuristic evaluation, and competitive analysis.The person in this role will also work closely with the technology teams to optimize the technological support of digital marketing assets. This position can grow and modify with the skills and abilities of the selected candidate.

The Candidate

As the successful candidate you will have related post-secondary education and a minimum of three years of related experience including experience with integrated content marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will be a team-player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent project management, organizational and communication kills are required, along with demonstrated experience in:

  • UX based design deliverables including information architecture, interaction design, user personas, customer journeys, user scenarios, wireframes, business process flows, and detailed user interface specifications
  • Transforming user research into actionable user experience enhancements
  • User-centered design principles, best practices, methodologies and approaches across all digital experiences including mobile, tablet and desktop
  • SEO best practices and techniques

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with Sharepoint, HTML, SQL databases and coding knowledge. Fluency in French is desirable.
