Quartech Systems Ltd. is seeking Web Content Writers for a Vancouver based contract opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Writing web content adhering to existing brand and style guidelines
• Providing feedback and improvement suggestions for the content
• Providing advice and assistance to the content strategy and project team
• Collaborate with the taxonomy experts on keywords, metadata tagging and search function
• Conducting copy editing, proofreading, fact checking and layout/design checking
• Validating usability on various different devices and browser platforms

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience developing web content following concise online writing styles
• Familiarity with user-centered design principles; ability to organize content by focusing on user needs
• Experience working with web project teams and subject matter experts
• Ability to negotiate changes with editors and subject matter experts

Desired Skills and Experience

• Government or large corporate client experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to deliver in a high pressure project environment
