Quartech Systems Ltd. is seeking a technical writer to prepare and review IT infrastructure change requests for a client in the Greater Vancouver area. This is a 6 month contract with possible renewal.

Responsibilities

• Log and track the status of change requests
• Write and review project change requests
• Assist with the gathering of change request requirements from stakeholders, and document technical solution information from technical resources
• Document standard IT infrastructure change request templates and processes
• Assist with the preparation of documentation, reports and presentation material related to project delivery and change requests

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years of experience with requirements gathering, and the preparation and review of IT infrastructure project change requests
• 2+ years of IT infrastructure project coordination/delivery experience in areas such as servers, storage, and network projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
