We have an immediate opening for the right individual with a background in biological sciences who is looking for an exciting opportunity! If you can write concisely and have a passion for marketing, apply today to contribute to the growth of an innovate clean technology company. You will be reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing and working closely with our Leadership team to produce content that drives interest from our target audiences and generates new opportunities. You will receive on-the-job training in cutting edge marketing technology and strategies while working closely with a seasoned team of senior leaders who will nurture your potential.

REQUIREMENTS

What we’re looking for:

You are a proficient writer with an education in biological sciences or agriculture who enjoys breaking down and communicating complex concepts. You enjoy research and absorbing new technical information. Your experience with web technology, including social media, has made you great at quickly acquiring new skills related to marketing software and website management.

What you’ll do:

• Performing research in agriculture, precision farming and big data for content creation and business development purposes
• Content curation efforts for social media marketing
• Monitoring publications relevant to our target industries for content that would interest our audiences
• Write and produce content for Semios that addresses the interests of our core audiences as they relate to our technology
• Engage in content promotion efforts, from operating paid digital channels to email marketing to influencer and channel outreach
• Report on marketing analytics and KPI’s

You’re a great fit if you have:

• A bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a biological science
• Excellent written and oral command of the English language
• Previous experience creating content with a portfolio to highlight your work
• (Bonus) Experience managing a brand website or social presence
• (Bonus) Knowledge of Big Data, agriculture or environmental sciences technology
