Ayima is looking for an SEO Strategist to join our growing SEO team in Vancouver, Canada.

The candidate will be responsible for the implementation of Search Engine Optimization campaigns in a client-facing role. They must be skilled and confident enough in their abilities in order to answer client and internal questions in a comprehensive and in-depth manner. The focus is on innovation and understanding the “bigger picture” while delivering industry leading service to our clients.

Requirements

• Understanding of technical aspects of the web
• Ability to understand and implement structured data
• Ability to write a basic technical documents including site audit and Disavow
• Good knowledge of Robots.txt, CMS and the benefits and weaknesses of popular platforms
• Good Local, Mobile and Video SEO knowledge
• Ability to conduct Change Analysis to review effectiveness of new/alternative content
• Understanding role and integration with content strategy for SEO
• Brand assets – tone of voice, understanding and leveraging for SEO
• Basic content creation (whole page)
• Ability to review website backlink profiles and individual links
• Understanding automated outreach
• Understanding of the principles of Negative SEO
• Ability to use all major analytics packages and 3rd party SEO tools
• Understanding of Paid Search and Adwords
• Ability to conduct market analysis (client and major competitor identification)
