You’re a couple of years into your marketing career, and have developed a passion for driving organic and natural search traffic. As a key member of the Attract & Engage Marketing team, you bring an innovative and creative approach to SEO, collaborating across all marketing channels and working closely with internal and external teams. You’ve demonstrated your ability to manage multiple projects, campaigns and deadlines, which makes you ready to jump into a challenging role on the BuildDirect Marketing team.

What You’ll Do

  • Keyword research for both discovery and analysis, developing keyword-targeting strategy for head terms and long-tail phrases, while also identifying new keywords with high potential
  • Optimize pages integrating keyword research and understanding of customer objectives
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize content using SEO best practices
  • Build out content to support key terms and rank for long-tail keywords
  • Develop high quality link strategies, proposing link acquisition & outreach ideas
  • Monitor and improve backlink profile
  • Collaborate with the Technology team to identify and resolve any potential search engine crawling/indexing issues for web pages
  • Provide on-page SEO suggestions on content placement, site architecture, internal linking, URL rewrites & web design
  • Manage multiple projects and campaigns focused on increasing traffic and lead generation
  • Use SEO tools effectively, such as Google Webmaster Tools, Analytics interpretation, proprietary and third-party SEO tools
  • Monitor key metrics to proactively identify issues or any new opportunities
  • Staying up to date on the search marketing industry by researching/networking/reading blogs, forums and news sources

What You’ll Achieve

  • 50% increase in organic traffic
  • 50% increase in number of acquired leads
  • Maintain link acquisition rate and quality targets
  • Manage SEO and campaign budgets to target MOAS

What You Need to Know

  • A solid understanding of Digital Marketing and at least 1+ years’ experience in SEO, PPC, keyword research, website maintenance or optimization
  • Content marketing experience across 2-3 different channels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, cross-channel campaigns and meet deadlines
  • Graduate from a Marketing program or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools
  • Experience working with a Technology, Ecommerce or Platform company would be considered an asset
