Senior UI Developer

xMatters is hiring a full-time senior UI developer to develop and maintain our cloud-based software products. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a successful and growing software engineering team. Your Responsibilities

• Build world-class user experiences
• Engineer the libraries and frameworks that power our front-end stack
• Tackle tough design and product problems
• Work cross-functionality across design and engineering to polish the product experience
• Take full ownership of projects from design to implementation to deployment

Requirements

• Great engineering skills and strong CS fundamentals
• Mastery of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• A desire to build well-engineered reusable front-end components and abstractions
• Familiarity with front-end libraries and frameworks such as ReactJS and GWT
• Unafraid to tackle back-end problems from time to time
• A sense of ownership over the product
• Great attitude towards work and people
• Intellectually curious, passionate, and inventive
• You love making things beautiful, and you have a strong understanding of usability and visual design

For Bonus Points

• Experience with Java web development
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or similar
