Position Summary
The Sr. Online Graphic Designer will be responsible for managing / developing the creation of custom design concepts for Walmart.ca including core website look & feel, marketing promotional campaigns, corporate messaging and other internal or customer facing messaging. They will also coach, and be the primary point of contact for our 3rd party agencies and vendors to ensure consistency in style guide and design.

Position Responsibilities
Coach, manage, develop and provide art direction/creative support to 3rd party design agencies
Develop and execute the creative for custom, seasonal and product campaigns in alignment with Walmart Marketing
Create, manage and maintain the visual style guide(s) for Walmart.ca and other eCommerce related sites
Manage and create online branding standards. Refine and apply (when needed) existing branding strategy to the online medium. Identify opportunities and innovative ways of working within those branding standards.
Work to improve the customer experience as it relates to the look & feel of Walmart.ca and other eCommerce related sites
Create copy related to promotions as required
Meet workback timelines as required, often on tight deadlines that have monetary impact to the business
Manage the copy/design relationship with the Translation team (internal/external)

Qualifications
Expert understanding of web design principles and online customer behaviour. Proficient in digital asset production process, including file management and content management tools (Alfresco, Endeca, JIRA, etc.) Basic understanding of coding languages (HTML, JS, AJAX), purchase influencers, social media and other marketing tactics related to online marketing.

College Certificate or Diploma
6-8 years experience
