The Sr. Marketing Manager, Canada Digital Solutions & Partnerships will responsible for developing the go to market business model for OneTouch Reveal platform engagements with Payer and Channel partners. The role will also be responsible for commercializing new digital partnership solutions by evaluating all potential stakeholder implementations or business model possibilities. The scope of this role includes all aspects of demand generation for these products in Canada, with a significant emphasis on driving the go-to market strategy and launch execution of OneTouch Reveal as a remote monitoring and blood glucose monitoring platform with Top Customers which will likely establish a new digital revenue stream for LFS Canada. The Sr. Marketing Manager will be responsible for collaborating with the Brand/HCP Digital Solutions Sr Marketing Manager to ensure aligned communication of customer priorities and needs to WWM and R&D. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for leading Project Management for the digital partnerships and LFS Payer and Channel development teams to secure contracts, development of cobranded marketing materials and presentations, and customer activations.  The role also involves significant collaboration with World Wide Marketing, Contracting, Legal, Market Access, Channel and Payer Sales and Health Care Professional Marketing, around new product development, business model assessment, and launch planning.

This role will have two primary focus areas, of equal importance to the business:

New Product Launch, OneTouch Reveal Web & Mobile App

  • Serve as the OneTouch Reveal™ Brand Champion for Retailers and Payers: Become a local subject matter expert on the OneTouch Reveal™ ecosystem, from both a technical (core functions, features) perspective as well as a clinical perspective (including clinical outcomes, key studies, and claims) for the purposes of shaping and executing effective marketing communications. Critical success factors for this role include the ability to demo the tool, and to effectively train account managers on how to demo the tool and sell-in the product. Equally important is the ability to gather rich customer insights for the purpose of informing and influencing up-stream partners on market needs for ongoing product development.
  • Acquire Early Adopters: Acquire early adopters by driving and managing pilots at key accounts.  Drive and manage local market pilot activity within US and CA with private and public payer and retailers, and evaluate new partnership and pilot opportunities, including any customizations required with R&D. Effectively coordinate cross-functional support teams to manage the customer relationship / experience, while gathering real-time customer insights in order to optimize, stabilize, and scale the application of OneTouch Reveal Web to a broader universe.
  • Formulate and Execute a Go-To-Market Strategy: Determine “what must be true” in order to drive broad market acceptance of the OneTouch Reveal™ portfolio of solutions with Canadian Payers and Retailers, and develop a go-to-market strategy to drive mass adoption via Payers & retailers – including 3rd party providers that perform services on behalf of Payers.

Digital Partnership Project Management

  • Lead a LEAP for Digital partnerships: Facilitate cross company and cross functional team collaboration to ensure contract milestones are met and customer activations achieved.
  • Leverage Marketing Materials developed from the US for digital including customer sell-in. competitive materials, activation pieces, joint promotional materials to exceed contract milestones and maximize revenue for both companies.
  • Ability to travel (primarily Canada), work flexible schedules (to accommodate internal and external meetings with east-coast partners and European-based partners) and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with a high level of day to day autonomy / independence.
  • Comfortable with public speaking to commercial and clinical audiences is required.  This includes driving product demos and sell-in conversations at the account-level, or providing “main tent” like presentations from the stage at conferences.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a University degree is required; an advanced degree is an asset.
  • A minimum of seven (7) of related experience in healthcare and or digital solutions is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years (combined) of product management and healthcare marketing experience is preferred.
  • Experience developing and executing digital customer engagement activities is preferred.
  • Core marketing skills (i.e. branding, positioning, claims management, messaging, and agency management) are required.
  • New product launch experience is preferred.
  • Clear understanding of ROI analysis and forecasting is preferred.
  • Experience supporting a Diabetes Care Franchise product is strongly preferred.
  • This position requires up to 30% domestic and international travel is required.
