Senior Advertising Design Specialist (Only individuals with a minimum of five years work experience in the industry will be considered.)

Experience working in Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and PowerPoint enable you to create effective designs for print ads, brochures, presentations and various advertising materials while meeting deadlines.

The specialist is responsible for:

• Leading and coaching a field marketing designer while ensuring designs meet objectives, brand standards and timelines.

• Maintaining standard design templates and file management.

• Managing intake for design requests from field members and filtering major concerns before assigning design resources.

• Providing design support to ensure local marketing, advertising, websites and social media are professional and meet legal, regulatory and brand identity requirements in English or French.

• Working as part of a field marketing team to create processes/standards.

• Creating final artwork using Adobe software in Windows and confirming the software capabilities and file formats with vendors to ensure effective production.

Required competencies and behaviours:

• Must have a minimum of five years experience as a graphic designer

• Must have a three-year post-secondary degree in Graphic Design or similar field

• Must be proficient in Microsoft word, Adobe Indesign, PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat

• Leadership and/or management skills

• Skilled working with social media

• Skilled working in Excel and Microsoft Outlook

• Full understanding of colour separation when preparing electronic files

• Must be self motivated, organized and able to multi-task and prioritize jobs to meet deadlines

• Must enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment

• Strong attention to detail
