Sales & Marketing Coordinator Full-Time

As an integral member of the Sales & Marketing Team, the Sales & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for effective coordination of sales, marketing, and administrative responsibilities. Specific duties may include:

  • Preparing presentations, marketing materials, quotations, pricing
  • Supports/coordinates the advertising/promotional budget and customer events and assists Hallmark’s remote offices when appropriate
  • Assists with customer research, analysis and related reporting
  • Prepares with various reporting responsibilities (i.e. Sales, Operations, Shareholder, KPI’s, PSAC, etc.) as required
  • Maintains & updates marketing materials as necessary
  • Coordinates promotional materials and distribution/tracking of corporate tickets
  • Maintains Hallmark’s website for accuracy
  • Coordinates all elements of participation in trade shows, including booth reservation, bookings for participants, booth design & layout, and literature
  • Gathers and maintains competitor data
  • Provide literature and other relevant information to customers and sales team. as necessary


  • A minimum  grade 12 education, and/or applicable post-secondary education;
  • Minimum 3 years related experience;
  • Exceptional computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications particularly PowerPoint;
  • Knowledge of PageMaker and a strong understanding of Social Media tools (i.e Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, MySpace, etc.) would be consider assets;
  • Demonstrated ability in coordinating and communicating within a dynamic sales environment and able to discern the appropriateness of communications;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees and internal business partners;
  • Understands values and respects the different approaches and styles individuals bring to the workplace;
  • Uses interpersonal skills very effectively in coordinating tasks;
  • Displays foresight in identifying problems at an early stage; observes and confronts problems to minimize possible effects and gains commitment to solutions for non-routine problems;
  • Identifies the most optimum ways to make effective use of all resources involved running various activities in parallel, and may coordinate efforts of other staff;
  • Demonstrates the ability to instruct others in the preparation and execution of key initiatives.
