Proposal Writer (Document Innovator/Creative Writer) full-time

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Document Innovator/Creative Writer (Proposal Writer) will support new business development opportunities (including formal RFPs, non-solicited proposals and other marketing/promotional materials) which will include aspects of creative writing, marketing, content and graphics development.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content development of business development opportunities (including formal RFPs, non-solicited proposals and other marketing/promotional materials
Creative writing for RFPs and non-solicited proposals including SME interviewing.
Supporting end to end RFP Process
Creation of graphics and page layouts
Creation of presentations
Participate in continuous process improvement
Contribute to other key corporate projects as identified
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
A university degree in Business, English, Journalism, Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience is required.
A minimum of five years’ work experience in strategic and creative writing experience in producing compelling, professional and customized client-facing messaging and focused on winning or retaining business
Superior Writing and Communication Skills
Previous leadership experience leading teams
Superior organizational, analytical, critical thinking, multi-tasking and problem solving skills are required.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, combined with the ability to manage multiple high priority tasks
Ability to interpret and articulate key issues
Team player who has superior interpersonal skills
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office applications and graphic development
Team player who is flexible, creative and has the ability to work in a rapidly changing work environment
Demonstrated flexibility to work non-traditional work hours is required.
Ability to take initiative and to demonstrate resourcefulness in work assignments
Familiarity with data analysis is an asset.
Knowledge of health care and/or health care terminology is an asset.
