Product Marketing Specialist contract
Position Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for product launch, project management, implementation and performance tracking for channel marketing and campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Working closely with Manager, Product Marketing, to plan and execute product life cycle activities, from product launch to end-of-life
Create product positioning and messaging framework for new products, and customize by global market and unique needs where product is to be launched
Segment target markets, conduct SWOT analysis and identify buyer personas for individual products and/or entire brand/product lines
In collaboration with Product Managers and other team members of Corporate Marketing, manage the creation of product launch and outbound marketing materials – social media, direct email, paid digital/online, product videos, creative assets, sellsheets, datasheets, etc.
In collaboration with Channel and Sales teams, develop product scripts, materials and training programs for Service Provider Channel Partners
Manage quarterly demand generation programs to support Channel Partner sales targets, and grow our product lines and brand mindshare within Channel Partner network
Liaise with Channel Partner marketing teams to launch, execute and measure campaigns, and continuously optimize joint marketing investments
Track performance for campaigns using a variety of sources, interpreting results and identifying key learnings
Advocate for a positive customer experience and coordinate among cross-functional teams to execute on the product marketing deliverables
Become subject matter expert on the strengths, needs and capabilities of our Partners and Channels to maximize ROI from campaigns and ultimately, sales conversions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, public relations or related-field
Minimum 3 years general marketing communications or product marketing experience; retail or reseller channel marketing experience preferred
Working knowledge and expertise of the marketing process and tools
Strong communications skills including, research, writing, editing, presentation and relationship management
Ability to think strategically; multi-task; attend to detail and deadlines; work well under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Mac
Basic Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator preferred
