Mediaplanet is looking for a Print & Web Production Designer to work with our offices in Toronto and Vancouver.
This person will oversee all production aspects from start to finish for our cross platform, content marketing campaigns and work in conjunction with project managers and management staff. The position is based in Toronto and will report to the Lead Designers in the New York office (North American Headquarters). This individual must be able to execute front-end design of web campaigns in both a web editor and custom CMS. Manage pre/post production of print editorial campaigns running in leading newspapers and oversee a team of freelance designers as needed. They are also responsible for managing client correspondence and incoming print/digital advertising materials on an ongoing basis. Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines is a must.

- 1-3 years of junior to mid-level experience
- Experience in an editorial environment is a huge plus
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Must possess a knowledge of print production and pre-press requirements
- Interest in business and managerial duties
- Must be able to maintain open and efficient communication with in-house and remote staff
- Must have a passport and be willing to travel internationally for training
