Principal User Experience Designer full-time

This role will be responsible for executing and leading the user experience (UX) for high profile desktop and mobile initiatives. You solve complex problems, design creative user-focused solutions and drive experience strategies. Provide vision and planning on how to evolve and grow the UX/UI in line with business plans. Direct and/or undertake appropriate research and analysis with users and stakeholders to validate user needs. Provide subject matter expertise and assistance through coaching, mentoring and managing UX team members and projects.

Required Skills

• A wizard with rapid prototyping and UI design this role will produce designs within a level of detail that can be used to produce functional requirements for development
• Work directly with Product Managers, Technical Architects and UI/UX designers to create requirements and provide design recommendations based on best practice and standards
• Experienced with agile UX including usability testing including traditional, multivariate and A/B platforms to guide design solutions
• Produces test scenarios, success metrics and can evaluate and communicate research findings
• Makes data driven design decisions through understanding and interpreting metrics captured by Google Analytics and testing
• A champion for the user, you make persuasive arguments that influence UX output and final product decisions
• Shows a solid portfolio of successful, high traffic, e-commerce based sites and can speak to the core UX engagement metrics driving the success
