ThinkInk PR is a full-service marketing & PR agency based out of Miami with offices in Toronto, London, Brisbane and Dallas, and we are looking for a new member of the team for our Toronto office. The person that we hire will be working directly with a senior member of the team in their day-to-day work, which will include media relations – pitching media across the globe, client management, as well as some admin tasks, etc.

This will be a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated, independent worker to greatly increase their international media relations and client management experience. So, let’s take a look what qualities we are looking for in our new team member:

Must have…

• Must have completed a PR or related degree
• Min. of two years of agency PR experience
• Experience pitching media nationally in Canada (and ideally, within the US or international market) with already established media contacts in Canada
• Experience pitching both consumer and trade publications and have a firm grasp of the difference between the two
• Be comfortable pitching both via email and phone
• Extensive experience drafting press releases, media alerts, pitches and other PR materials for clients
• Excellent writing skills
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize a large workload
• Ability to work independently and self-motivate
• Be willing to work at least 9-5:30pm everyday (with possible OT needed)
• Experience making media lists, creating monthly reports, as well as other admin related tasks
• Knowledge of the usage of social media in PR and the top 5 SM sites
• Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
• Have a passion for PR and the drive to do what it takes to make our clients happy
• Professional attitude and a quick learner
