You are an Interdisciplinary Team Leader with core competency focus on the interaction between server-side frameworks, web server and database systems. You have excellent project management and systems design skills and are able to lead a team approach to development. You are capable of leading Web Application Development and Database Architecture/Design with a focus on Server-Side Frameworks.

• Develop and support e-learning and CRM web applications which support the family of OUTDOORsmart!™ brands
• Design detailed programs, flow charts, and diagrams necessary to meet project requirements
• Interact with developers both internally and externally to integrate back-end services, APIs and enterprise systems
• Troubleshoot and correct highly complex so"ware defects
• Maintain documentation of systems and applications
• Configure hosting and development environments
• Provide strong project management leadership
• Make recommendations for process improvements and best practices, and participate in research of solution
• development policies and guidelines
• Provide work effort estimates and coordinate with senior management to develop critical path

YOU

• More of a ‘back-end’ person by trade, you’re crazy about systems, databases and efficient code
• University / College degree related to computer science or a related combination of education and experience
• 5+ years experience developing and supporting PHP web applications
• 5+ years experience with relational database applications and protocols (SQL, MYSQL, ODBC, NoSQL)
• Advanced knowledge of the full web stack (LAMP, PHP, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX)
• Experienced working with version control systems
• Experienced in deploying development, staging, and production environments
• Experience working with web APIs and CDNs
• Experience in an agile so"ware development environment
• Able to work on a team, independently when necessary, to escalate problems when appropriate, and to thrive in a successful small business environment
• Knowledgeable about web security best practices and standards
• Extremely detail and quality oriented
