New Media Content Editor contract
Position Description
As an accomplished communicator with an understanding of and a passion for new and emerging digital media, you will support the organization as it prepares for the relaunch of its employee Intranet. You'll also improve the organization's use of the Internet to reach financial consumers, crafting a unique voice and creating engaging content. This position will lead and coordinate internal content creation liaising with key content owners and business sponsors to ensure the primary communication objectives of these sites are met. The New Media Content Editor will also provide training for business owners and authors to ensure individuals understand how best to use the content management and publishing tools to develop leading content assets. This position reports to the AVP, Marketing.
Qualifications Required
You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Communication, Technical Communications or Web Publishing related programs. In addition you will have 3 years’ experience in a position supporting an Intranet or Internal Communications role. You will have experience in administering or coordinating an online community or collection of web publishers as well as a working understanding of HTML.
