We’re looking for an experienced Media Strategist to join our innovative digital strategy team. Through consumer and market research, and idea conception, the Media Strategist plays a key role in driving innovation and ideas for new and existing clients. The ideal candidate is a driven thought leader in the digital space, has an innate curiosity about consumer behaviour and is a strong storyteller and presenter – selling through strategy to clients. You’re collaborative and enjoy working within a team environment.

Consultative Sales Responsibilities

  • Drive online sales with local direct and local agency clients
  • Build marketing programs for sales representatives or direct to clients
  • Present programs and campaigns face-to-face with clients
  • Consult and recommend strategic digital campaigns based on established KPIs
  • Provide expertise to sales teams during planning and execution of digital campaigns
  • Work with clients directly on their web marketing, design, reporting and implementation strategies, acting as a digital consultant
  • Ability to train and educate sales staff and clients on digital product offerings and best practices as our digital products and services rapidly evolve

Inventory, Website & Campaign Management

  • Assist sales staff with campaign optimization recommendations, working closely with our Campaign Specialist
  • Provide consultation on post campaign analysis for sales staff and clients
  • Develop opportunities based on our network audience targeting, programmatic buys and emerging trends

Native Content & Digital Marketing Services

  • Demonstrate a high level understanding of native content, social media and search marketing landscapes
  • Understanding of content marketing best practices and tactics
  • Demonstrated skills in executing successful SEM campaigns
  • Consult clients on the benefits of leveraging various digital marketing strategies with traditional media programs
