Intergraph Canada Ltd. has an immediate opening for a Marketing Specialist in Calgary, Alberta.

Your Mission

Reporting to the Americas Regional Marketing Manager, you will work with the Americas regional and global marketing teams to execute regional industry events and strategic marketing programs that support regional growth and revenue objectives, sales strategies, and marketing goals. Specifically, you will work collaboratively with regional management, including: business development, sales, and global marketing to effectively perform marketing responsibilities in the following areas.

Responsibilities:

Events: Tradeshows, Conferences, Corporate Meetings and Client Events:

Tradeshows – Assist with the planning/execution of tradeshows to: create key messaging, develop integrated marketing campaigns, coordinate booth layout/design, signage, use email and social media for pre-show marketing, and oversee on-site execution including, booth furnishings, A/V and electrical equipment, and post-show wrap-up. Manage lead retrieval, lead distribution and lead reporting for each show.

Conferences and Meetings – Manage user conferences by conducting site visits, selecting vendors, venue locations, hotel accommodations, and furnishings, as well as coordinating demo stations, A/V and electrical equipment, catering, and shipping. Oversee conference marketing campaign including presenters and program agenda.

Private Events – Create and distribute customer invitations, manage RSVPs, select and distribute promotional items, and provide customer hospitality.

Marketing Campaigns: Plan and implement marketing campaigns to support overall marketing plan in collaboration with global marketing, including graphic design, emails, landing pages, ads, banner ads, direct mail, social media, PR, etc.

Newsletters, Press Releases and Case Studies: Write regional internal and external communications, including quarterly newsletters, monthly press releases, and case studies.

Email: Execute e-mail and direct mail marketing programs and effectively track results. Create web forms and landing pages to support email campaigns.

Website: Manage events pages, create landing pages, monitor lead generation, and overall analytics.

Sales Support: Provide support to sales by assisting with customer presentations, updating collateral and managing promotional item inventory.

Social Media: Promote marketing campaigns via LinkedIn Navigator, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media.

Marketing Strategy: Assist management in developing annual marketing plan/strategy and track progress to goals. Monitor regional budgeting and expenses by tracking and processing expenses against budget.

Other Duties: Assist regional personnel with other administrative tasks for sales and marketing-related activities as requested.

Qualifications:

Your Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will possess the following skills & qualifications:

  • A bachelor degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of related marketing experience.
  • Solid business acumen, with process or industrial (particularly oil and gas) experience desired.
  • Excellent written communication and proven ability to effectively write, edit, and produce marketing materials. Able to communicate technical information in a non-technical manner. (Writing samples will be required).
  • Creativity and innovative thinking, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work responsibilities with minimal supervision as well as ability to effectively work as part of a team. Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize workload effectively under tight deadlines.

Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency in:

Required - Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), SalesForce and Eloqua (or similar marketing automation program).

Preferred - Wrike (or similar team collaboration program), Dreamweaver, Zmags, Skype, WebEx, and Box.com and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Knowledge of the engineering and design software industry a plus.
