Job Description :

We are seeking an enthusiastic, up-and-coming marketing professional who has a passion for retail marketing and project management. In the role of Marketing Specialist, you play an important role in the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, national product launches and coordination of retail events. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong project management and cross-functional delivery skills to create and execute marketing plan elements for the WIRELESSWAVE brand.

Your communications and marketing skills will enable you to act as integral liaison between the business and both its external and internal clients. Excellent writing, communication, project management skills, and attention to detail with a “can do” attitude are a must for success in this role.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on the development and execution of national marketing programs for the WIRELESSWAVE brand
  • Manage the deployment of marketing collateral including but not limited to point of purchase signage, brochures, and event signage ensuring they accurately reflect product branding, positioning and key messaging
  • Coordination of events including grand openings, product launches and In-mall programs
  • Manage marketing inquiries from retail stores
  • Development and execution of planograms for all marketing programs
  • Processing of purchase orders and invoices

Qualifications:

  • Post- secondary diploma or degree in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ work experience in retail marketing
  • Professional oral and written communications with experience in marketing communications, copywriting and proofreading
  • Ability to manage multiple workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • “Can do” attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate with others
  • Flexible, results oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Technical proficiencies in MS Office applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage and prioritize a diverse workload
  • Experience with InDesign (a plus)
  • Passion for, interest in and knowledge of telecommunications
