Position Summary

Reporting to the Marketing Director, Europe and Australia, the Marketing Manager, Europe and Australia is responsible for providing advice, guidance and support to the team members responsible for the development and execution of marketing programs in Travel Alberta’s overseas markets of UK, Germany, Netherlands and Australia. This is a critical position in the International Marketing team as it fosters relationships and aligns partnerships amongst Travel Alberta, Market Development Directors, and Alberta industry stakeholders. This role will contribute to Travel Alberta People Strategy and team development by leading and coaching one direct report and actively living the team member behavior model

Position Requirements

As Marketing Manager, Europe and Australia you understand the intricacies of tourism marketing and international business. Your innovative, creative and collaborative approach to program development, online and print campaigns will enable you to lead Travel Alberta to the forefront of Canada’s tourism industry.  Your ability to act with conviction and your superior communication skills will establish and maintain relationships and partnerships that seize market opportunities. Your leading-edge concept development, international business acumen and ability to manage projects of multiple scopes and budgets will allow you to develop and execute on unique opportunities that enhance Alberta’s position in the market.

Your diploma or degree in Marketing, Tourism or International Business will be complemented with at least five years of progressive tourism marketing experience.  Your dedication and passion in branding and marketing has taken your career to this point.
