Accountable for the office's sales and marketing support by working with all of the office's producers as a coach, mentor and business partner. Through a business plan, identify producers who will become key advisors and deliver marketing programs to increase the office’s Life Product sales.

Responsibilities:

•Increasing the breath of advisor relationships by actively recruiting and building new producer relationships
oTrial and convert
oThrough a business plan, identify producers who will become key advisors
•Increasing the depth of relationship with selected advisors as a coach, mentor and business partner
oComplete and monitor annual business with all selected advisors
oProvide applicable knowledge, skill development, motivation and accountability to assist key advisors with business development
oSchedule and deliver regular advisor development seminars, plus one-to-one coaching
oPrepare illustrations and other client presentation ‘packages’
oCoordination & delivery of tax & estate planning marketing support using HOC team
oResearch & maintain library of industry-related material
oCoordination & delivery of special quotes
oJoint calls with selected advisors as required
•Providing limited marketing support to casual producers as required
•Deliver marketing and advisor development programs to increase the office’s sales results
•Considerable amount of travel required

Qualifications:

  • College diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Computer skills: knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, contact management software
  • Minimum 5+ years in financial services industry
  • Sound knowledge of concepts used in life & investment industry
  • Familiarity with the Canadian wealth management and financial services market
  • Working towards Industry designations: CFP, CLU, CFA, etc
  • IFIC preferred but not required
  • LLQP preferred but not required
