Marketing Coordinator Job Description

Telemetry is a small startup looking to expand its team and hire its first marketing personnel.  As such your role will be wide and varied with lots of opportunity for personal contribution and direction.

The marketing coordinator at Telemetry will need to perform the following job functions:

• Write marketing copy for emails, website and similar
• Search Engine Optimization on a regular basis, monitor company's position and results in Google
• Maintain AdWords account, monitor campaign on a weekly basis
• Monitor Google Analytics weekly, identify new traffic sources
• Work with bloggers to write articles on the company
• Maintain a PR campaign and outreach to PR firms
• Tweet about the company or industry on a daily basis
• Write a blog post bi-weekly based on company features, maintain a content calendar
• Write/edit the high level/introduction parts of the product documentation
• Maintain an industry trade-show calendar
• Organize trade-show attendance
• Attend (and once we're larger organize) local meetups and represent Telemetry
• Developer outreach, ensure satisfaction and obtain feedback for product direction
• Maintain and grow our slack.telemetryapp.com community
• Work with partners to provide marketing material to assist them in selling Telemetry

You should have 1-3 years of working experience with an Internet based software or service company at performing a role similar to the above.
