In this dynamic, fast-paced environment, the Marketing Coordinator, Social Media is primarily responsible for maintaining FPI’s social media assets, including strategy & content development, reputation management, search engine optimization, analytics and reporting, as part of an in-house integrated marketing team. This position also coordinates the Lead Management program, ensuring that all generated leads are entered and acted upon. As a key member of the marketing team, the Marketing Coordinator, Social Media collaborates with other members of the team to support various marketing projects and initiatives throughout the year, ensuring social media remains and integrated component of the overall marketing strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities

Social Media / Digital Marketing

  • Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop and execute social media campaigns and initiatives
  • Maintain FPI’s social accounts (including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Houzz)
  • Collaborate with content writers to develop and review social media content and content calendar
  • Build and manage FPI’s reputation online by adhering to and improving response guidelines and policies
  • Identify opportunities for business and influencer outreach
  • Implement SEO strategies within all social media efforts with the aim to maximize inbound traffic
  • Maintain KPI and analytics tracking, report out on these metrics; including competitive benchmarking
  • Remain up-to-date with new/emerging technology and social media trends; provide recommendations for implementation/adoption with the aim of keeping FPI’s marketing strategy cutting edge

Lead Management

  • Build out, manage and optimize end-to-end automated programs, including lead generation and product onboarding / adoption
  • Support business development team on new business opportunities related to marketing automation
  • Execute campaign activity plans including segmentation, list building, email management, and reporting
  • Collaborate with branch teams to ensure leads from Home/Tradeshows are entered in a timely manner
  • Follow up with sales teams to ensure leads are promptly followed up with by dealers

Project Management

  • Support marketing project development under the direction of the Marketing Manager
  • Support traditional marketing efforts by coordinating print, broadcast, and direct mail projects
  • Assure the completion of assigned Marketing projects accurately, on budget and on time
  • Support the flyer program and other various promotions throughout the year
  • Plan and support all branch meetings including presentation design
  • Assure complete record keeping digitally & hard copy for all projects and programs

Customer Service / Teamwork

  • Attend Home/Tradeshow events and assist with promotion activities
  • Maintain professionalism and act in a manner consistent with FPI mission and guiding principles
  • Follow all Health & Safety programs; actively participate in Health & Safety training with the purpose of gaining knowledge and understanding
  • Contribute to a positive work environment focusing on Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Respond to general inquiries with a customer service focus
  • Other related duties and projects as assigned

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge

  • Extensive knowledge in social media management (paid and organic)
  • Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) in English
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing Tools such as Google Analytics & AdWords, Programmatic Advertising, Marketing Automation Software, and Lead Nurturing programs
  • Strong working knowledge of a variety of programs, including Microsoft Office (especially Access, Excel and Word), CRM systems, and design programs (InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Business/Marketing or a related field
  • Certificate/Course-work in digital or online marketing an asset

Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar marketing role
  • Previous experience analyzing digital performance analytics and communicating results to others
