JOB OVERVIEW:

Leavitt Machinery is actively recruiting for a Marketing Coordinator - Content Writer to join our team in our Langley office. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating, editing and proofing original relevant content, with SEO in mind, for our website, blogs, social media and press releases. The ideal candidate for this role is an avid writer who loves to learn and will seek out, research and obtain required content to write effectively about our products and services.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research and write accurate and original content for our products and services
• Responsible for all content creation for our websites, written with SEO in mind
• Creating and posting on all social media sites (Twitter, Facebook and Linked in)
• Creating, editing and publishing all press releases
• Develop and manage editorial calendar based on yearly goals
• Edit and proof read content to ensure accuracy of grammar and punctuation

WHAT YOU BRING:

We want you to have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a marketing/communications role, or a background in content writing, with a basic understanding of SEO and have some exposure to basic HTML. It’s required that you have strong computer skills and a high level of proficiency in MS Office, social media, publishing press releases, and can work with minimal supervision.
