Delta Controls is looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team. The Marketing Communications Specialist develops the external and internal communications for Delta Controls. This person is responsible for the proofreading of materials for the department as well as copywriting. This role focuses on extreme literacy and the ability to write in multiple forms. This is a full-time, permanent position in our Surrey, BC office.

Responsibilities:

Communications

  • Generate copy for marketing collateral and communications.
  • Design and develop internal communications, manage announcements - coordinating input from senior managers, HR and a wide variety of front line staff.
  • Develop product literature, managing the copy and dispatch/stock of these items to keep them up to date, branded and benefit led (with the support of the product managers).
  • Develop sales support material with Marketing Team.
  • Maintain Image library and rights.

Sales Liaison

  • Manage and maintain the reference sites in CRM / reference site database.
  • Develop case study library and collate associated images.
  • Contribute to RFIs as required.
  • Dispatch marketing material requests.
  • Communicate technical information to a variety of audiances.

Industry links and profile

  • Support research activities.
  • Co-ordinate “Earthright” Accreditations / activities.
  • Compile award entries and search out new promotion opportunities.
  • Some administration is required as part of this role.
  • Training will be provided as required.

  • Numerate with ability to understand and interpret data.
  • Able to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals.
  • Ability to work on multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within agreed deadlines.

Experience required:

  • Educated to degree level preferably, having gained or been working towards marketing qualifications.
  • Information technology competent across MS Office applications, and able to maintain website content management solutions.
  • Minimum of three years of work experience in marketing or a related field preferred.
