Marketing & Communications Specialist
In Edmonton, AB
The Marketing & Communications Specialist will be responsible to provide support of organization-wide communications and marketing initiatives by recommending and implementing a wide range of tactics to build awareness of the Acuren brand nationally. As an experienced marketing and communications professional you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop customized solutions to marketing and communication needs aligned with organizational strategic objectives. You will demonstrate creativity and apply best practises in the development of marketing materials to support corporate initiatives to capture client interest, to generate awareness of Acuren services and technology, and to support specific corporate, national or regional special projects and proposals, recruitment efforts, and other such outreach activities. Technical savvy and experience in the use of social media tools to drive client education and development, and strategic prowess to support the development of a consolidated framework that expands Acuren’s brand recognition and public exposure would be highly desirable.
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or Communications with a minimum of three years of experience supporting the communications needs of an engineering or technical services company. The successful applicant will possess the unique ability to translate highly technical content into generically understandable messaging with minimal resource reliance, as well as a flare for creativity in graphical content development. Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in the use of computer technology to support effective marketing, communications and graphic design is essential to success in this role.
