Marketing Communications Coordinator Full-Time

We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join the Marketing Team in Calgary.  Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the successful candidate will primarily assist with the execution of Marketing Communications strategies in order to drive acquisition and awareness in support of business goals.

Role and Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with the Marketing Communications Manager, create, manage and coordinate strategic marketing programs
  • Facilitate the planning and execution of internal and external marketing activities
  • Organize and assist with sales events, customer events, seminars and trade shows
  • Support the production of marketing collateral, website and social media content
  • Oversee brand management and brand integrity by ensuring marketing and promotional materials are consistent with the Spartan brand management guidelines
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to formulate creative ideas to improve the overall customer experience
  • Oversee market research, competitive activity and identify Industry trends
  • Analyze the performance of marketing activities and campaigns

Qualifications and Skills

  • Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related area
  • 3-5 years experience in Marketing Communications preferred, Oil & Gas or related industry experience would be an asset
  • Ability and confidence to network at variety of business settings/events
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superior computer skills and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Digital software video editing skills would be an asset
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to readily learn new software programs
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial work ethic
