Great opportunity to join a successful education software development company in Edmonton. Play a key role in the development and deployment of the marketing plan for our new web/mobile SaaS software product. You will be working with a small team of dedicated software professionals. You are an excellent communicator both in person as well as online. This position will also involve monitoring and growing our social media presence with tools like Hootsuite, Wordpress, and GetSatisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop a marketing strategy for the new solution supported by key action items
• Grow the online presence of the solution by engaging in various social media activities (Blogging, Tweeting, Managing our Facebook Page and others)
• Identify specific marketing opportunities in the K-12 education sector that would relate to our solution
• Develop marketing collateral to assist and enhance the sales process, including multimedia materials, website and brochures
• Marketing event planning
• Conduct webinars
• Assist with marketing and administrative tasks as they arise

Requirements

• Recent Graduate of College or University with Business Diploma or BCom
• A Canadian citizen or permanent resident

Desired Skills

• Marketing experience with social media
• Knowledge of Education marketing
• Previous experience in a software company would be an asset
