Marketing and Social Media Manager full-time
Located at the head office of Midwest Property Management, the office is situated downtown Edmonton.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The marketing and social media manager will be responsible for leading the company’s overall marketing and social media strategy. Success for this position is to develop, maintain and implement the organization's marketing and social media strategy, including marketing plans that leverage social media outlets. Responsible for development and maintenance of online content that attracts attention, generates interest, and is easily shared with social networks. This position reports to the Senior Vice President. The positions of social media/marketing assistant and customer contact center manager will report directly to the marketing and social media manager.
HOURS
Monday to Friday- 8:00- 5:00. Over time and on-call as required.
START DATE
As soon as possible.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have post-secondary training in marketing, social media, business or another related field. Will have demonstrated a solid track record of strategic thinking that leads the marketing function at the property and corporate levels, acts as the subject matter expert, and provides critical support to all departments and holds fiscal accountability for marketing initiatives. They will have strong trouble shooting and analytical abilities and must have the ability to understand the needs of the company. A strong understanding of social media, internet, and Microsoft office skills are required.
