Reporting to the Director of Business Development, New Line Skateparks is seeking an experienced individual to assist in the implementation of the company’s sales and marketing strategy.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with Management to establish sales and marketing metrics and reporting mechanisms
  • Researching market trends and industry developments in action sports, landscape architecture, and urban design
  • Sales lead generation
  • Preparing project proposals and RFP submissions
  • Preparing and delivering proposal/sales presentations
  • Preparing digital and print sales and marketing materials
  • Preparing company exhibits and attending industry tradeshows
  • Managing company website
  • Contributing to company social media strategy
  • Conducting project scope of work and fee negotiations with community groups and municipal clients
  • Assisting design team with public consultation and concept design responsibilities (helping facilitate public engagement sessions, community needs analysis, contributing to project visioning and preliminary design exercises, assist with creation of design presentation materials)

Your Skills and Education:

  • Post secondary certificate or degree in marketing, graphic design, or landscape architecture
  • Minimum 3 years sales and marketing experience preferably in landscape architecture, action sports industry, or municipal parks and recreation consulting/products.
  • Demonstrated success conceiving and executing marketing campaigns including: market research, competitive positioning, promotional mix implementation, monitoring and evaluation
  • Motivated, self-starter who is resourceful and has proven problem solving skills
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign) and Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with regional offices in supporting and building a shared culture and a unified brand
  • Flexibility to travel on a regular basis and to connect with colleagues across the continent in multiple time zones
