Position Overview:

LawDepot.com is currently expanding and looking to recruit a Market Research Analyst in Edmonton, Alberta. Working in the Marketing Department, you will be responsible for conducting research and reporting on our users, our competitors and the market as a whole. You will identify opportunities by running surveys, completing user testing and thoroughly documenting trends in the industry. This is a full time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on overall industry developments
  • Monitor and report on changes to competitor websites
  • Communicate and summarize research findings to all interested team members
  • Utilize your research to help plan projects, including the creation and updating of online products
  • Use a variety of research methods to gain insights into the motivations and behaviour of our current and prospective users
  • Design survey questionnaires and coordinate user testing
  • Gather and sort through quantitative and qualitative data to make suggestions that inform design and product decisions
  • Work with the IT department to efficiently utilize monitoring tools

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications or Research related fields
  • Excellent planning, assessment and organizational skills
  • Advanced understanding of different research methods and their applications
  • Ability to work independently on a variety of projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of product design and online marketing best practices is an asset
