At Metric we work with our clients to identify the people they need to talk to; the message that moves them; and the channels that reach them.

Then we build amazing campaigns to fight for progressive change.

We’re looking for team members that share that vision - and want to work hard to create content that inspires and mobilizes real people. We’re looking for an experienced digital manager who can help us create emails, ads, websites, and videos that tell our client's stories - and inspire their supporters to action.

You:

  • Believe in making big change happen - and are excited about working with causes and movements who believe in that too.
  • Are passionate about social, racial, and environmental justice - and excited to use modern communications and digital tactics to win the important fights of our time. You bring enthusiasm, and a drive for perfection, to your work every day.
  • You are creative, collaborative, and a highly-organized self-starter with at least 2 years of experience working for an agency, union, non-profit, political party or similar environment.

  • You can edit the work of others and coach contractors to meet the goal of a brief.
  • You are curious and love to learn.
  • You thrive in a team setting and collaborating with peers to create the most impactful work possible.

You’ll do things like:

  • Develop strategies and implement campaign tools to support our client's digital campaigns. This includes digital paid media selection, buying and targeting; integration of tools and systems; reporting on campaign results; building and sending emails and other communications; building web tools.
  • Build & optimize online ad campaigns on Meta, Google, and other programmatic ads platforms.
  • Build, test, and send campaign emails on Nationbuilder, Mailchimp, Action Network, and other platforms as required
  • Build and pitch digital strategies to internal teams and to clients
  • Lead web development projects, acting as a liaison and leader between designers, strategists and web developers
  • Collaborate with creative/content teams, providing feedback on analytics and campaign results to strengthen future work
  • Manage digital staff and freelancers/contractors and delegate tasks effectively
  • Plan and build-out online ad campaigns on various ads platforms
  • Provide support in building, testing, and sending campaign emails on Nationbuilder, Action Network, and other platforms while managing client data using Excel, Google Sheets, and other tools
  • Measure the effectiveness of content using integrated analytics tools
  • Produce actionable, data-driven reporting to provide real-time recommendations, including daily report monitoring
  • Identify new and emerging tools, platforms, and technologies that may benefit Metric and our clients, staying up to date on digital trends to ensure agency work is cutting edge
  • Make recommendations to improve the performance of our client’s campaigns
  • Build and establish processes and best practices right from the start, and work with fellow specialists along with senior leadership

To be successful in this role you'll need to have:

  • At least 2 years of experience producing and managing digital campaigns through multiple social platforms for advertising, or fundraising in a role at an agency, union, non-profit, political party or similar environment.
  • Experience in client service and a demonstrated ability to address client concerns thoughtfully and effectively.
  • Superb organizational skills and a proven ability to manage budgets, develop digital strategies, and supply accurate reporting through analytic tools. This role requires the ability to manage multiple campaigns day in and day out.
