Manager, Advertising Copy Full-Time

The Manager of Advertising Copy takes on a role where proactive and organizational qualities are mandated. Work is substantially complex and varied, requiring the interpretation of technical and detailed guidelines, policies and procedures with a thorough understanding of department operations.

A solid working knowledge of the travel industry is important with the ability to understand specific metrics and products being directly tied towards job performance. In this role, you will develop effective advertising copy that aligns with brand tone, and helps drive call to action conversions. Success in this role is defined by the ability to contribute positively to the Marketing teams key goal of capturing consumer interest and lead generation.


  • Ensure all creative copy material aligns with brand standards
  • Write SEO-friendly content for partner and campaign landing pages
  • Write ad copy for placement within print and online channels including but not limited to: page advertisements, brochures, flyers, email communications, on-hold messaging, press releases, social media and various additional client communications
  • Refresh and improve copy on all pages across a variety of online properties
  • Consistently monitor websites for outdated information and old product (QA)
  • Co-ordinate placement and optimization of copy creatives


  • A degree or diploma in Marketing or Communications

  • French/English bilingual an asset

  • Strong written, proofreading, and editing skills (French is not a requirement but would be considered an asset)

  • Strong communication skills

  • Highly creative and imaginative

  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects

  • A team-oriented, collaborative individual who is hands-on and completes tasks

  • Work well under pressure, set deadlines and monitor performance of team

  • Ability to manage people and provide constructive feedback when necessary
