Opportunity:

Due to our rapid growth, Iovate Health Sciences Inc. has an exciting new opportunity for an Intermediate Web Designer within the Digital Marketing team.  As a successful candidate, you will be a strong communicator with a growing set of creative design skills.  You will be working with a team of marketers, developers and web support staff to deliver in a deadline dependent environment.  Utilizing your web design techniques you will assist in taking marketing concepts and bringing them to life online with all the usual suspects: Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, ActionScript, etc.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Maintain top of the industry websites for the company's online presence
  • Stay in the know - assess new standards, technologies, and trends to bring forth as future enhancement of web sites
  • Ensure that web sites are optimized and accessible from a variety of different environments
  • Assist in the development of interactive flash content
  • Receive leadership and/or guidance of other staff engaged in similar functions
  • Perform miscellaneous job related duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary Education
  • 3+ years web design experience
  • Must be artistically inclined - ability to produce creative, awe-inspiring designs
  • Experience with Adobe Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat
  • Ability to hand code HTML, CSS, and ActionScript
  • Knowledge of JavaScript
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Positive team player
  • Self motivated and innovative
  • Ability to receive input and direction
  • Good understanding of usability and accessibility standards
  • MS Office knowledge
  • Knowledge of 3DS Max and Adobe InDesign would be considered an asset
