Information Architect full-time

Number 41 Media is looking for an Information Architect, someone who understands and is excited about user experience at every level. Our Information Architects play a foundational role in our organization and the ideal candidate will have a thorough grounding in usability principles and will have extensive experience with usability research. Our techniques include methods like contextual inquiries, task analysis, and information/interaction architecture. We need a multitasker - someone who can direct as well as produce thoughtful interpretations of business requirements into well laid out solutions. Candidates must be comfortable working in a very dynamic, creative, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities:
-Document solutions through schemas, site-maps, diary studies, user flows, and wireframes.
-Prototype page templates using Axure.
-Perform informed reviews wireframes and designs.
-Create and maintain requirements documents.
-Plan & facilitate usability testing.
-Facilitate meetings with project stakeholders to capture requirements.
-Manage one or more assignments concurrently.
-Balance business and user needs.

Desired Skills & Experience:

-A track record of producing well laid out and workable solutions.
-Minimum of 4 years experience including at least 2 year of UxD/IA/interaction design experience in a corporate or consulting environment.
-Excellent communication skills including written English, verbal presentation and visual representation.
