We are currently conducting a search for a Graphic Designer to provide graphic design support on a variety of projects and assignments as required by the Marketing Team. This is a 13 month contract position based at the Corporate Office in Mississauga, and reports directly to the Marketing and Merchandising Manager, Retail Division for the Beer Store & Brewers Distributor Ltd.

Key responsibilities of this role are as follows:

• Produce concepts, ideas and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic

• Design marketing materials such as posters, social media graphics, web graphics across a multitude of platforms (print, branding, packaging, retail collateral, digital, web and social media

• Brainstorm, create, and support print and web based media/marketing campaigns for in-store material

• Communicate with Vendors to produce high quality imagery and creative designs that improve overall expression of the TBS brand

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• University or College degree, in Graphic Design

• 1-3 years of relevant experience providing graphic design support

• Expertise in Mac or PC environment; technical proficiency and practical experience working in multiple design technologies in AdobeCC, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash and Microsoft Office Suite

• Proven capability in creative process, page layout, typography, vector illustration, web design, knowledge in HTM, CSS and digital marketing as asset

• Confident visual and written communicator on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube

• Must have knowledge of the print production process and proven ability to communicate requirements and timelines to vendors.

• Strong prioritization skills with the ability to multi-task and work with tight deadlines

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team, and as well as an individual

• Basic understanding of TBS and the beer industry including terminology, lingo and trends is an asset.
