Graphic Designer and Illustrator full-time

Nations Fresh Foods is hiring a full-time Graphic Designer and Illustrator to work at our Hamilton location in Ontario.

Work location:

· Unit 445, 2 King Street West, Hamilton, Ontario L8P 1A2 (Jackson Square)

Term of employment:

· Full-time and Permanent

Working hours:

· 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM)

Salary: $27.50 per hour

Job Description:

1. Develop and design the graphic elements and illustrations for company’s advertising materials such as website, flyers, brochures, coupons, and etc.
2. Prepare sketches, graphic elements and illustrations using traditional tools and different software.
3. Design and prepare graphic elements and illustrations to support the company’s direct marketing efforts across multiple platforms including website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
4. Design and produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings and computer illustrations.
5. Participate in the production of company’s print and electronic materials.
6. Work closely with the marketing team in the ongoing design needs of the print and electronic materials.
7. Keep up with the current industry trends, and improve the company’s graphic elements and illustration on advertising materials.

Requirements:

1. Education Requirement: a university degree or a college diploma in graphic design, illustration or related field.
2. Experience Requirement: a minimum of one year experience in graphic designing, illustrating, etc.
3. Language Requirement: English.

2. Software: CAD software, Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
3. Well-established design and conceptual skills
4. Creative and innovative thinking
5. Effective written and verbal communication skills
6. Design skills reflected through work experience and in a current portfolio of projects/assignments
