Engage People Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong UI and JavaScript skills to join our growing team.  If you are a passionate and driven individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, then this is the place for you!   Together with the team, you will take part in the programming activities of various projects related to the development of web and responsive mobile applications, and the management of data.  You will be provided with the flexibility to get the job done--all you have to do so come back with great work!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers the programming of Web pages with XHTML, CSS, AJAX, and JavaScript.

• Participates in software development with object-oriented programming (PHP5+).

• Programs Third Party applications based on strong understanding of APIs.

• Designs, develops, and assists the Business Analyst in the drafting of functional specifications required during the software development process.

• Keeps abreast of emerging technologies.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited institution.

• Minimum 3 years experience with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience in development with MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP5+.

• Experience with AngularJS, Bootstrap, Gulp/Grunt and other frontend technologies.

• Working knowledge of Laravel and other PHP MVC frameworks (i.e. ZEND, etc.).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work in a team and independently.

• Knowledge of agile scrum methodologies preferred.
