Based in downtown Toronto, Ashlar Urban Realty Inc. is seeking an experienced, independent, reliable, time-sensitive, technically-savvy and highly motivated Freelance Graphic Designer to assist us with our marketing materials.

He/she will be responsible for providing a predetermined set of visual marketing materials and packages targeted towards an external audience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of these marketing materials within a time-sensitive deadline. Technical skills, attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines and the ability to attend weekly meetings at our downtown location are essential qualifications. Background in real estate is an asset.

Key Required Skills:

• Strong graphic design portfolio with a diploma or degree in Graphic Design or a related field
• 3+ years work experience either in-house on a freelance basis in a graphic design or marketing position
• Excellent technical design skills with a high level of proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro
• Great proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills
• Strong ability and flexibility to work under tight and sometimes changing deadlines
• Ability to attend weekly meetings at our downtown office
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

This is a freelance/contract position that may range in length depending on the successful candidate's performance and fit within the company.
